**INVITATION TO AATJ お茶ット SESSION**
As you plan your summer holidays, please mark your calendar for a special AATJ お茶ット SESSION to be held on Friday, July 1 (US) / Saturday, July 2 (Japan).

"Japanese Language and Literature", AATJ’s official journal, this year published a special section entitled “Our Challenges and Triumphs: Female Asian Faculty in Leadership Positions in U. S. Colleges and Universities”. As a follow-up to this special section, we are going to hold a Zoom session where the contributors to the special section and the readers can gather to share our experiences, perspectives, and advice concerning our professional lives as Asian female faculty in the United States, as well as various administrative matters in the operation of language programs.
The session is open to anyone who is interested in the topic and would like to chat with others in an informal environment. Although the special section focused on female Asian faculty in colleges and universities, K-12 teachers and administrators, and educators of all gender, ethnic, and linguistic backgrounds are welcome. Please feel free to share this information with your colleagues who teach other languages as well.

Date and Time:
8:00 pm – 9:30 pm (Eastern Time) on Friday, July 1
9:00 am – 10:30 am (Japan Time) on Saturday, July 2

Please use the following link to register for this event: https://tinyurl.com/hc8mc9np
The Zoom link to the event will be sent to registered attendees on June 30.
The articles in the special section are available on the journal's website:
https://jll.pitt.edu/ojs/JLL. They have also been collected into a single PDF file, which can be downloaded from the AATJ website at:
