INTERCULTURAL EYE FOR ART: INDIANA-HIROSHIMA STUDENT ART EXCHANGE FOR BECOMING A GLOBAL CITIZEN

October 21, 2021 – January 16, 2022

From 2015, educators from Hiroshima and Indiana have been exchanging student art and lessons to facililate students becoming global citizens. This exhibit shows examples of students' artwork from our exchanges and is coordinated by Kazuyo Nakamura (Hiroshima University), Hye-Seung ‘Theresa’ Kang (Indiana University), Leah Morgan (Orleans Jr-Sr High School), Hisae Aoyama (Shigei Elementary School), Hannah Shuler (Childs Elementary School), Atsuo Nakashima (Hiroshima Board of Education), Cheryl Maxwell (Grandview Elementary School), Takunori Okamoto (Kasugano Elementary School), Chelsea Blanchard (Clear Creek & Marlin Elementary Schools), Yasuyuki Fujihara (Setoda Elementary School), Cassidy Young (Academy of Schience & Entrepreneurship), and Takumi Kawasaki (Kumano High School).
